Our History
Trinity Wesleyan Education Center is a child care ministry of Trinity
Wesleyan Church. TWEC was founded in September, 1999, in an effort of
the church to minister to families with small children in the greater Eden
area. Originally, the children were cared for in the Church building.
Construction was completed on the child care building in October of
2001. The full day children were moved into the new facility. The
after-school program was moved into the Church building.
In 2006, the Family Life Center (gym/fellowship hall/cafeteria) was
completed. The new addition to the center increased the capacity to a
maximum of 225 children, making TWEC the largest single site child care
facility in Eden.
Larger does not necessarily mean better. Therefore, TWEC strives to
maintain the highest quality child care available. From infant to middle
school ages, we desire to assist parents in the task of bringing children
up in the "nurture and training of the Lord" (Ephesians 6:4). We provide
a Christian environment with Christian staff members who are to model
Christian compassion, care and nurture. The "A Beka Book" preschool
curriculum is first-class and Christ-centered. In effect, your children
learn from a Bible-based worldview as they master the skills necessary to
be successful in K5 and beyond.
